Congratulations to School Counselor Diego Arias, from Loma Verde Elementary School, for receiving the San Diego County Counselor of the Year Award by the San Diego County Office of Education.
Mr. Arias was selected for this esteemed award for his exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to empowering students to build resiliency, encouraging them to utilize healthy coping skills, and helping his students flourish.
With over 11 years of experience as a school counselor, Mr. Arias has positively impacted countless students' lives. He strongly believes that wellness involves holistic aspects of a child, not only one learning modality. His commitment to ensuring that his students have access to a quality life, wellness, and education is evident/shines through in his everyday work.
