Environmental Site Assessment: Millenia Lot 16 School Site 

The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) invite public comment on the  Preliminary Environmental Assessment (PEA) to the Millenia Lot 16 School Site, parcel number 643-060-36. located in the Southeast quadrant of State Route 125 and Birch Road in Chula Vista, California. CVESD proposes to construct an Elementary School in the 8.57-acre site. This report summarizes the onsite investigation conducted that will lead to the issuance of a no further action (NFA) determination for the site by the DTSC. 

Comments concerning the Draft PEA report may be submitted in writing to : Facilities Planning, Chula Vista Elementary School District, 84 East "J" Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910. The comments must be postmarked by August 2, 2021.

The CVESD will hold a public meeting to receive comments on the document and to adopt the PEA.

Facility Use

The Governing Board recognizes that District facilities and grounds are a community resource and authorize their use by community groups for purposes provided for in the California Education Code "Civic Center Act" when such use does not interfere with school or District activities. See Board Policy and Administrative Regulation 1330.
