Port of San Diego Tackles Pollution at its Source

The Chula Vista Elementary School District was awarded $68,800 by the Port’s Environmental Advisory Committee for its Coastal Education Program, located at the Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista. The funding provides transportation and admission costs for students over the next five school years, and is the largest grant that the Coastal Education Program has received from the Port.

Bravo to the partnership between the Chula Vista Police Foundation and the Chula Vista Elementary School District. CVPD's Seventh Annual Shoe and Sock Drive provided 450 students with new socks and shoes on Saturday, September 16, in collaboration with the Payless Shoe Source on Broadway in Chula Vista.
